Rejuvenation, not amplification.
India's grandest temples want for nothing. Beyond them stand lakhs of small shrines: the village temples each of us grew up around, sacred to the families who still call those places home. Many can no longer afford their daily worship. Their Archakas hold on with little support, and festivals that once gathered whole villages have grown quiet.
MyTemple exists for these temples. We help you find the temples of your native place and stand behind them with direct, accountable support: for daily worship, for the priests' families who sustain it, and for the repairs that keep a sanctum open.
A village temple rises again; its sanctum, dressed for the evening.

Our flagship program
MahaPrasadam
अन्नदानात् परं दानं न भूतं न भविष्यति ।
No gift is greater than the gift of food: none has been, none will be.
MahaPrasadam grants fund Archakas at small village temples to offer Anna Danam: freshly cooked, blessed food served free to every devotee, one or two days each week. A temple that feeds its visitors becomes the living center of its village again, the priest's family earns a dignified livelihood, and daily worship carries on.
Serving since 2021 in partnership with the KnowYourRoots Foundation, at small village temples across India, building toward one thousand temples.
Give while we rebuild.
Online donations are paused during the rewrite, but the programs are not. To give toward MahaPrasadam, or toward a temple you care about, write to us and we will respond personally:
